Something’s Wrong With Copyright Law

Copyright law began with good intentions, but enforcement requires effective legal representation, which is out of reach for most individual creators. Corporate power, conversely, is at an all time high. Media companies, which now include generative AI companies, will do their utmost to exploit individuals, and can bring on as much legal representation as needed to do so. Finding a solution will be hard. A controversial and probably over-simplistic idea is to limit copyright duration (eg. 14 years?) when the holder is not a human (eg. a corporation), thereby limiting corporate power?
